Air Iceland Connect is a regional airline company, established in the year 1997, headquartered in  Reykjavík Airport, Reykjavík, Iceland. it was initially named as Flugfélag Íslands ehf. The company flies to 13 destinations, has its hubs in Reykjavík Airport, Reykjavík, Iceland along with focus city being Akureyri Airport.

Baggage for any trip is imperative, irrespective it is business trip or a family vacation. Thus to avoid any sort of incident while checking in the luggage at airport or at security gate, both checked-in baggage and cabin bags should adhere to the policies set by Air Iceland Connect. To avoid this confusion and resultant fine, we have listed basic baggage details of this airline below:

Checked Baggage: 

  • Dimensions – 62 inches (Length + Breath + Height), Or
  • Weight – 20 Kg

Weight dimensions limits

  • Weight- 6kg
  • Dimension- 115 cm

Checked Baggage: 

  • Weight: 20kg. 
  • In hold: 158 cm.

Infant Passenger Baggage Allowance:

  • Entitled to 5 kg checked luggage each

 

Charges

Every additional kilo of the luggage is charged for every passenger as per the flight and route details. 

Special baggage

 Special Charges are incurred. Also, registration and approval is required.

Travelling pet

Must be Accompanied by a certificate of good health, and that your pet is transported in an approved pet carrier or cargo crate.  

Pet Policy

Pet passport package includes:

  • Pets/Animals carried is charged at standard freight rates.
  • Pets cannot be kept overnight at Air Iceland Connect Cargo premises.
  • Service fee is applied for all pet transport where customer is not traveling with the pet

Air Iceland Connect accepts no responsibility for the damage/loss unless the items are identified and has, in writing, accepted them for carriage:
