Baggage being very imperative, you must be aware about policy regarding the same in much advance.  To avoid unforeseen anomalies therefore, you need to know certain stuffs before flight. Here, given below; are certain details regarding the same which every passenger flying Air France needs to know:

Checked Baggage: 

  • Dimensions – 158 cm (Length + Breath + Height), Or
  • Weight – 23 kg (Economy and Premier Economy Cabins)32 Kg (Business and La Premier Cabins)

Charges

For every oversized baggage fees has to be paid, depending on the itinerary of the passenger. 

Special baggage

 Special Charges are levied. Also, registration and approval is required.

Travelling pet

Must be Accompanied by a certificate of good health, and that your pet is transported in an approved pet carrier or cargo crate.  

Pet passport package includes:

  • Pets carried must be at least 10 weeks old.
  • Pet carrying passengers arrive at airport at least 3 hours prior to departure.
  • Service fee of €30 applies for all pet transport where the pet is carried in the cabin.

Damage

  • Passengers can declare damaged, delayed or missing baggage by completing the form provided online, or on the Air France app, within 48 hours of their arrival. To do this, traveler needs to provide their baggage receipt number.
